Born in 1972, Eston is now permenantly based in Taiwan, where his creativity thrives. This exhibition marks Eston Tan’s second solo showcase with Qing Gallery and his inaugural exhibition in Singapore. The artworks on display have been specially created and curated as a profound expression of love for Singapore and a heartfelt tribute to the visionary leader, the late Lee Kuan Yew. Eston’s deep admiration for Singapore’s rich heritage and remarkable transformation is seamlessly translated into visual narratives that will transport you through the boundaries of time, bridging the gap between history and contemporary consciousness.

Memoirs of Life - Eston Tan

Eston Tan (b. 1972) is a modern and contemporary artist who is now based permanently in Taiwan. He started his art tutelage at the Malaysian Institute of Art and The One Academy, Kuala Lumpur. He showed early promise clinching the Major Award in Penang Young Talent Awards. Eston was featured in a solo exhibition in Vienna, Austria in 2009 entitled Down to Earth and a group exhibition in Symposium, Hungary. His works are widely collected and exhibited in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA, UK, Belgium, Paraguay, Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
